400TH RETAILER JOINS DARYL IN NEW TRAINING SUITE
Premium showering products manufacturer Daryl Industries has invested £50,000 in a new training and marketing suite at its Merseyside head office. Designed with retailers' needs in mind, the state-of-the-art facility will be used to display the latest product ranges as well as being the base for the company's popular product training courses.
Over 400 people from bathroom retailers across the country have now attended the product 'awareness days', which cover all the information needed to effectively sell the quality products in the Daryl and Aroco Showering product ranges.
Mike Wilson, marketing manager at Daryl Industries, commented: "We rely on retailers to communicate the quality of our products, because its our main point of difference in the market. As part of our awareness days we don't simply 'tell' retailers about our quality, we get them to put an enclosure together themselves to see how high our standards really are."
Daryl Industries also holds regular training courses on its bespoke service, to allow retailers to maximise on sales within this very profitable area of the market.
Mike Wilson concluded: "Consumers are looking for advice and reassurance and will be more encouraged to buy from a sales person who is confident and knows the products well - something that has been confirmed by our market research.
"Retailer training is one of the most important marketing activities we invest in. Ultimately it makes it easier to sell our products, which benefits us and our highly valued retailer network."
