Premium showering products brand Daryl Showering has celebrated a major milestone in its retailer product training programme, as 600 sales staff from retail showrooms across the country have now taken part in its 'awareness day' initiative.
The awareness days are held at the company's head office in Merseyside and include all the information needed to effectively sell the quality products in the Daryl Showering and Aroco Showering by Daryl product ranges. They also allow retailers the chance to experience the high production values as they are given the opportunity to put a Daryl enclosure together on the shopfloor.
Mike Wilson, marketing development manager for Daryl Showering, explained: "We rely on our network of retail showrooms to communicate the quality of our products, because it is our main point of difference in the market. But we don't simply 'tell' them about our quality standards - this 'hands on' approach helps them to understand how high our standards really are."
Over the last five years Daryl has invested £125,000 on its retailer training programme including a new training suite and product showroom, demonstrating the company's commitment to this activity. Designed with retailers' needs in mind, these state-of-the-art facilities are used to display the latest product ranges as well as being the base for the company's popular product training courses.
Mike Wilson concluded: "Consumers are more demanding than ever before and are now looking for consultation and advice about how a bath or shower room will be used, as much as how it should look.
"They will also be more likely to buy from knowledgeable sales staff who are confident about the products, which is why retailer training is one of the most important marketing activities we invest in."
